East Coast Surveys – Our Commitment

East Coast Surveys will continue to remain open for business until such time as the advice from public health and government authorities requires a change to this situation. Our aim is to continue to deliver all of our services to the development industry, supporting our clients as best we can during these challenging times. We will take every step necessary to ensure the health and safety of our staff and clients.

Many of our services will continue to be provided with little change. Our town planning services and Council application lodgements will continue even in the event we are required to work from home. Our Surveyors are still able to attend properties to carry out most field surveys so long as we practice social Distancing. Provision of plans for contour surveys and as constructed works plans will be unaffected. Construction set out and civil surveys can continue with limits to the numbers of people attending a work site at any one time. We will advise clients of the time we are arriving to carry out any boundary surveys so that residents do not need to meet with the surveyor on site.

We are committed to adopting the government’s safety measures both in the office and on work sites. To this end, our company has set in place a number of precautions to tackle the coronavirus outbreak. Where possible we will be putting in place measures to allow some of our staff to work from home. All staff are required to comply with the social distancing measures at all times. To limit staff contact we have begun to introduce staggered workings hours. Hygiene is critical and staff are encouraged to wash hands or use hand sanitizer regularly. We will adhere to the rules around social distancing in the workplace and as such we are now restricting all face to face meetings with our clients.

Our actions aim to ensure we can maintain business operations and at the same time focus on the ongoing wellbeing of our employees, clients, suppliers and contractors.

We hope that you, your colleagues, friends and families remain safe and healthy, while we all focus on flattening the curve.
