Trimble S6 Total Station

Last month we purchased a new fully robotic Trimble S6 Total Station with the new TSC3. This is our latest addition to the surveying instruments we use in the field. So far it has performed well, meeting all our expectations and we highly recommend it to any other surveyors.

The Trimble S6 Total Station is quick to follow the target, able to stand up to a bit of weather and reliable. We have found it to produce consistently accurate and fast data collection, hence saving valuable time in the field. Keeping up to date with our surveying equipment is very important to us. It allows us to maintain the highest standards for the work we do, and our new Trimble Robotic Total Station certainly helps with this.

The new MagDrive technology is pleasantly quiet and allows fine control for pointing. With the SurePoint technology, the instrument automatically compensates for minor movements from wind, weather and sinkage. This is very useful especially when the weather is not so good, allowing us to work in all sorts of conditions with very reliable results.

The TSC3 Controller provides us with a great range of tools and options that are easy to use and make our work that much more of a pleasure to do.

All things considered we are all very happy with our new purchase. We look forward to using it in the field for the next few years and for those who are interested, the official manufacturer website is here: http://www.trimble.com/trimbleS6.shtml
